Inklings Montessori Hub
Experience the cutting edge of early childhood education at the Inklings Montessori Hub, a unique center where great stress is placed on the purposeful utilization of authentic Montessori materials and essential practical life skills. Children at the Hub not only work with the specialized materials but also master crucial life skills—fostering deep concentration, coordination, and a strong sense of self-reliance, preparing them to thrive in a global society.
Central to our philosophy is the commitment of our educators to craft an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for each child. These plans are reviewed at regular intervals to accurately monitor a child’s unique strengths, developmental needs, and comprehensive growth across all learning areas.
Junior Montessori
At Inklings, our Junior Montessori Program is thoughtfully designed to enhance cognitive development through a screen-free, hands-on learning environment. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy and reimagined for today’s learners, our approach blends purposeful play with a content-rich academic curriculum that nurtures both the mind and body.
Children engage in activities that strengthen gross motor skills—such as building with LEGO and blocks—while simultaneously developing early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking abilities.
Senior Montessori
Inklings Senior Montessori is meticulously structured to advance the social, emotional, and academic welfare of every student. In this supportive environment, children gain confidence in self-expression while rigorously developing essential skills in linguistics and mathematics.
A cornerstone of our curriculum is a unique reading program, ensuring that reading is specially stressed and supervised to build foundational literacy. Furthermore, we embrace play as a vital pedagogical tool in day-to-day learning, recognizing it as the most natural and effective way for children to acquire knowledge.
Advance Montessori
Literacy excellence forms the bedrock of our curriculum. Our educational approach is rooted in revolutionary principles of individualized, hands-on learning. Unlike traditional classrooms, we embrace mixed-age environments where students learn collaboratively, fostering peer mentorship and natural social development. This philosophy recognizes that each child learns at their own pace and through their own interests.
Our comprehensive reading program systematically builds phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and critical analysis skills aligned with each student’s developmental stage. We recognize that strong readers become confident learners across all subjects.

The Path to Inclusion at Inklings
The transition from the Special Education Department to the Mainstream is not a matter of time, but a matter of readiness. This ensures that when a student joins the mainstream, they are equipped to thrive rather than just sit in the room.
The Foundational Level - Special Education
In this independent department, the focus is clinical and therapeutic. The goal is to reduce the barrier between the student and their environment through targeted therapies.
Joint Attention
This is the ability to share a common focus on an object or event with another person. It is the bedrock of all social learning. Without it, a student cannot follow a teacher’s demonstration or engage with peers.
Command Following
This ensures the student can navigate the "hidden curriculum" of a classroom—understanding instructions, transitions, and safety boundaries.
The Bridge - Special Education
Once milestones are achieved, inclusion begins. This is described as a “responsibility and a promise,” implying that the school doesn’t just “drop” the student into a new class, but actively manages the shift to ensure the “promise” of support is kept.
The Mainstream Level
The student enters the general education environment. Because they have mastered joint attention, they can now learn through observation and group instruction, making the inclusion meaningful rather than just physical presence.
Why This Approach Matters
Many schools struggle with “Mainstreaming” because they move students based on age or grade level. Inklings’ approach is different because:
Reduces Frustration
The student enters the mainstream with the tools to succeed.
Protects the Learning Environment
It ensures the mainstream classroom remains a productive space for everyone.
High Accountability
It puts the "effort" on the institution to provide the right therapies until the student is ready.
