About Us

Welcome to Inklings

At Inklings Junior School, we believe that every child is born with a natural curiosity — a spark waiting to be nurtured. Our mission is to inspire students to think, question, and explore, while fostering creativity, emotional intelligence, and self-direction from the very beginning.

Founded by Ms. Hafsa Khalid—whose academic background in Pure Mathematics, Western Philosophy, and educational research deeply informs our approach—Inklings was envisioned as a response to the shifting intellectual and emotional needs of today’s learners. With guidance from an expert advisory committee, she created a learning space that moves beyond rigid, traditional models, championing self-directed learners and independent thought.

While we remain deeply committed to cultivating a strong reading culture, believing that books nurture empathy, imagination, and deep thinking, we also recognize the importance of preparing students for a tech-driven future. By combining the wisdom of traditional reading with the agility of digital platforms and AI-assisted learning, Inklings creates a balanced, future-ready environment where students grow as judicious minds and self-directed learners.

A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Inklings School!

At Inklings, we believe that the most powerful tool for navigating the future is a strong foundation in timeless skills. In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and technology, it’s not just about what you know, but how you think, adapt, and create. Inklings is based on the very principle.

Our school is a vibrant community built on diversity. We celebrate the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and talents that each student brings to our campus. We believe that by learning alongside individuals from different cultures and walks of life, students develop the empathy, open-mindedness, and collaborative skills essential for navigating our complex, interconnected world.

Here, we don’t just teach subjects; we cultivate a mindset. Through a curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, we empower students to become not just consumers of technology, but innovators and ethical leaders. We are preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing landscape, equipping them with the tools to write their own futures.

Your child will learn in an environment that is both rigorous and nurturing, where curiosity is celebrated and every challenge is an opportunity to grow.

I invite you to join us on this exciting journey, preparing your child to become a confident, capable, and compassionate thinker ready for the world of tomorrow.

Sincerely,
Hafsa Khalid

Our Visions

Inklings envision a new learning scheme specifically designed to prepare students for the demands of the AI generation. This means prioritizing skilled learning over rote memorization, with a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking, problem solving, digital literacy, and the adaptability essential for thriving in a constantly evolving technological landscape.

The name “Inklings” perfectly encapsulates our philosophy. It evokes the enduring joy of books—the fundamental source of imagination and knowledge—while also signifying the “inklings” of new ideas crucial for the AI era. We’re creating a bridge between the enchantment of literature and the demands of the future, cultivating learners who are well-rounded, empathetic, and forward-thinking

Our Inclusive Approach to Special Education - Department of Special Education

We understand that some students require additional support to succeed. That’s why we’ve established a specialized special education department staffed with dedicated professionals. This department is not a separate world; it’s a bridge to mainstream education.

Through regular therapy sessions, personalized instruction, and a collaborative team of educators, we provide tailored support for students with learning disabilities and additional needs. Our goal is to equip these students with the skills and confidence necessary to become part of the mainstream classroom. We work to identify and build on each student’s key strengths, creating a learning plan that celebrates their abilities while addressing their challenges.

For students who may not be suited for a complete mainstream classroom experience, we offer a flexible, blended approach. This ensures they still have opportunities to interact with their peers, learn valuable social skills, and engage in activities that tap into their unique talents, all while receiving the specialized support they need. At Inklings, we see every student not for their limitations, but for their potential. We are thrilled to partner with you in your child’s educational journey.
